Yes yes! It’s Chicken time! the Chicken Shop T’s are now officailly available from the shop
Someone was looking at the Chicken shop T at the reset and read the ‘product of the Environment’ bit on the T,
he says to me “so your T Shirts are Organic then yeh??
I looked puzzled for a second and then informed him they were actually free range.
Ok so let me just make it clear our T Shirts are not organic or fair trade or any of that good eco friendly stuff at all, unfortunately they are actually made by Mr Cees Aunt Jemima in the Philippines(the qualitys spot on though dont get it twisted she works hard for her money).
The product of the Environment is obviously a statement about chicken shops and their location.
Its no coincidence that you can find a whole bunch of Chicken shops in Londons poorest boroughs like Newham, Hackney and Lewisham and not really gonna find as many in say Chelsea.
There is something very London about Chicken shops despite most of these chicken shops trying to look American and endorsing America with names like Southern Fried, Dallas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas.
The fact is as much as Chicken shop owners try an fool us into thinking we are living the American dream, we are not eating that good old southern Mississippi finger licking good chicken…its straight up pigeon from Plaistow.
So we decided to make our Chicken a little bit closer to home, the Chicken shops traditional image of a cowboy hat and bow tie has been swapped with a fitted cap and school tie on our UKC chicken. We decided to keep the red white and blue colours cos after all that still represents the UK yah get me blud!?
So until those cheap bastard MPs stop nicking tax payers money to pay for porn and other crap and instead spend some money on improving the quality of food in schools, as far as the average school child is concerned at lunch time you cant go wrong with a £1.99 meal deal even if it is pigeon.
