UKC X FBBB X THE REEBOK LOUNGE

Last Thursday we showcased the snowboards and skateboards we Uglyfied up in collaboration with FBBB and in true Ugly Kids Club fashion we killed it. 8 boards in total, including a helmet.

We went down to the Hoxton Pony for the afterparty. My camera got stripped off me so sadly I couldn’t take no snaps of Bomb, Durrell and Faime doing the macarena in unison ontop of a neon-lit table.

We weren’t there for long, stomachs were rumbling for a salt beef ROLL (with the ugly). Beigels aren’t cutting it at the moment. To top it off we went down to the Sports Bar for some New Girls!!! Giggity….

We are off to Nass on Thursday where we will also be celebrating Linxmans birthday.

Jack Daniel’s, Captain Morgan, and The Havana Club will all be joining us for the weekend…Its gonna be messy.

URBAN NERDS 2ND BIRTHDAY PICS *updated*

All the old school Urban Nerds heads came out to play last night. They got themselves a grimble warehouse just down the road from the Tate Modern. I was forced to draw for the bashed up point and shoot since Mister Cee was knocked out from a night of pasting followed by a day of work… thats hardcore.

We bumped into my crime fighting nemesis turned former romantic love link: Catwoman. She is currently seeing Captain Jack Sparrow at the moment. Im not bitter about it at all.

I kind of forgot about my camera as soon as the wine and the Strongbow kicked in. And then remembered i had it in my pocket when i reached the house of food. Its never about sleeping in MacDs. Big ups to the three Sausage and Egg McMuffins i breathed in.

BATLOWSAPPLES.COM PT 1.

Like a hardcore nerd i been behind my macbook for a couple of months now, teaching myself code, this wordpress nonsense, getting used to analytics and all the other shit that comes with running an online business. I apply a full time effort into The Ugly Kids Club but i have also had some downtime to put together a couple of things for myself: bought www.MisterBatlow.com which is the one place online for Me. I been into websites for a couple of years now and i have managed to collect quite a few… www.tstar.co.uk, www.batlow.8m.com, www.myspace.com/misterbatlow, THIS ONE. Despite how painfully embaressing my work was back then, its still nice to have it stored somewhere (also i have forgotten the log ins to the websites/hosting so i can’t get in!)

Which brings me to latest and greatest: WWW.BATLOWSAPPLES.COM.
No words, just some non-credit crunchy visuals. A bunch of seen and unseen work from the last few months of uni to the present day, aswell as a glimpse into the other new projects im wokring on. Courtesy of my long time website designer: Daniel Harte who is actually the designer of my first two websites. Thats enough verbal fraffage for now, have a butchers at my website, have a butchers at Daniels, bookmark them, screenshot them etc and as we near the grand unveiling of another real big ‘ugly’ project or even a bunch of little ‘ugly’ projects, there will be words of wisdom from my new work.

A backdrop i did for Azza a couple months back gets put to real good use. Mans been grafting hard on his calender project for the ladies (and possibly gentlemen) titled ‘Work it’. Check him and his blog out.
