This not actually ‘graf’ or ‘graffiti’. But i have some good old fashioned art gallery culture for you here today… Me and Ms. Stone visited Anish Kapoor a couple of weeks back. From what i had heard and from what i could muster from the name i fort it was some indian lady’s blood sculptures. Turns out it wasn’t an indian lady. Or Blood.

This is some true behind the scenes footage since your not allowed to take photos in there… but we did. Cos we are sneaky like that… (big up to all the unsuspecting people we papz’d).

This looked like a big candy paint coated vagina to me… but thats just probs just me.
Big up to the woman who is looking down at me with her stuck up face… probs cos she heard me say ‘it looked like a big vagina’

This were shit.
As in they looked like a big pile of concrete shit.

And also they were a bit shit… i didnt like em. Big up to Ms. Stones mom who joined us at the gallery!!

The main attraction was this bad boy… a big cake of red wax that was moving from room to room.
Big up to the african security guard that told us not to take pictures but made us increasinly defiant and want to take more. He also told us not to touch it either. But we did. The sculpture or contraption moved from gallery room to the next by way of a little train driven by a really small man on the inside. We tried to get a picture of him when he got out to have a chocolate bar but we was stopped.

Big up to the woman bending down. You did really want to push anyone near into it. I wasn’t sadistic as that tho. We did beckon a man to put his hand in it and touch it. But we gave him a tissue afterwards.

As i said this isn’t ‘graf’ or even remotley anywhere near graffiti but the way it merks the walls and makes quite a beautiful red mess can be considered the same in my head.
The real attarction tho is the ‘cannon room’. This is basically some ancent loking industrial canon that shot out tubs of the oil/wax into another room every 20 minutes.

Everyone crowds around, and after about 1 or 2 minutes of anticaption it makes a big sound and poof the wax comes out. (poof as in the sound it makes not a gay guy)

It basically makes one big mess on the other end of the room. Theres shit on the walls, the archway, the ceiling, which is pretty fucking nice.

If you ask nicely… like what i did… they will even let you shoot one yourself.

‘Go big or go home’ is what i can describe his exhibition like.
Its worth seeing if you want to see a traditional looking building and art gallery space proper fucked up.
Im not talking in the realm of ’street art’ in dingy shoreditch warehouse… im talking grand big ceilings and ornate passageways covered in bright red gook.
