Monday, July 11th, 2011For those that know, the art of screen printing is a highly skilled one. From start to finish everything has to be done with precision. From the artwork, to exposing, to actual printing, everything has to be handled with care. I am proud to say that I got a degree in it, as here at The Ugly Kids Club we stay true to real art and keep our skills in check.
Just before the end of the year I did a limited run of t-shirts which were hand-printed. Even the illustration was done by hand. Rubylith anyone? Old schoolers and screen printers know. For those that missed out, missed out. I printed 15 of these “Wealthy Hearts” t-shirts. I believe if any brand is gonna do a limited number of t-shirts, they should hand-print it themselves. Long gone are the days of limited edition tee’s (Bape Days), but it never hurts once in a while to do a limited run. Remember to look out for any updates we have of limited hand-printed tee’s.
