SnowBombing 2012: Day 5 Dizzee Rascal

Tuesday, May 1st, 2012

To end the week, we finished with the headliner, Dizzee Rascal, in a Forest. Yup. A rave/gig in a forest, The Eristoff Forest to be exact. Free Eristoff and good vibes. What a way to start the last night!

Like a Vetran, Dizzee fully killed it. One of the most surreal experiences in my life. Definitely blessed to be there.

We got fully involved in the middle! I was lucky my camera is still in one piece…

Check out these crazy visuals from the night…

Big shout out to our familia FBBB for hookin’ it up, SnowBombing and everyone else we met out there! Personal shouts to Chico, Neil and Sparrow. We gon’ do it again next year!

Urban Nerds at SnowBombing 2012

Friday, April 27th, 2012

Our extended family from day, Urban Nerds hosted a night which had a ridiculous line-up. This was definitely the best night out at The Schlussel in SnowBombing 2012. Good Vibes. Good Music. Good People.

….and also Good Food. What do you know about having a kebab and pizza shop up in the club?! Whaaaaaaaaat?!

For those that went Snowbombing and didn’t go Urban Nerds missed out! Trust me! Killin’ the game out there!

Urban Nerds’ 5th Birthday is very soon, so check out the next post for all the details on where to celebrate it with them…

SnowBombing Day 4

Tuesday, April 24th, 2012

Remember the weather on Day 3? Well, it was all clear the next day…

After having breakfast at Hans’ we headed up the mountain to finish off the piece we started at the Grilhof Alm.

Batlow – “Cee, you ever seen a cloud up close? There’s one right there..”

Yup, that’s how high up we were…

Chico Reppin’ UKC…

Eatin’ Pizza, in front of Pizza graff…

Note that we were in t-shirts. It was blazin’ up there and I tried my best not to get a goggle tan, but I got one anyway.

After I almost died at one point (don’t ask why) we managed to finish the piece. Big up to Christian for the opportunity and Neil for hookin’ it up!

We headed down the mountain after to enjoy the rest of the festivities…

Keep posted!

Hans The Butcher

Monday, April 23rd, 2012

The Beigel Shops in Brick Lane ain’t got nothin’ on Hans The Butcher.

Stacks on Stacks on Stacks. Slabs on Slabs on Slabs. What do you know about that. Mayrhofen’s Finest.

SnowBombing Day 3

Friday, April 20th, 2012

We were asked to paint the Grilhof Alm up in the mountains. The existing graff that was there was probably there for a good few years, so we gave it a UKC do-over. What do you know about painting in the mountains?! Ridiculous.

We had to get the ski-doo to bring our paint up there…

It wasn’t the sunniest of days we saw so far, but we got stuck right in to painting…

Once we could do all we can for the day (final lifts finished at 4.30) we raved it up, on the mountain, in the clouds. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!

DJ CH!CO bringing the tuuuuunessss…

After chillin’ up on the mountain top for a bit, we had to snowboard down in the blizzard. Fun times when you can’t even snowboard properly and don’t know where you are going. We had to get air lifted out cause we ended up on the wrong side of the mountains. Great.

Watch out for Day 4 to see what went down…

Make sure you check out more coverage of Day 3 at Snowbombing here…

Big shouts to Christian for the opportunity and Neil and Mikee for the hook-up!

SnowBombing Day 2

Thursday, April 19th, 2012

As Dizzee puts it in this video at 0:17 seconds… “The scenery is dumb”

We spent the day getting lost on the mountains, going down the pro routes instead of the novice routes, falling and “eatin’ shit” constantly, but by the end of the day, we learnt from our mistakes and backflips became easy to do. Nothin’ Long. We were able to keep up with the infamous Sparrow Knox , Chico and Neil Campbell of FBBB. Snowboarding/ski-ing isn’t for people with vertigo. Trust.

Check out these breathtaking views on the Snowbombing website of day two here…

and here’s a couple I took…

The wonders of the iPhone. Amazing.

We managed to come across a restaurant on top of the mountain that needed some UKC lovin’, so watch out for tomorrow post of how it all went down…
