MARK BODE ON VAUGHN BODE

Its weird to think that there might be a generation of graffiti artists, street artists and stencillists that have never heard of Bode or the Cheech Wizard. I never grew up on Bode cartoons. I couldn’t have, the internet was still green and black then. The older writers in my schooled schooled me on him. It was a graffiti thing. What’s inevitable is once people stop imparting their knowledge of an artist then the artwork ceases to to remain current and possibly forgotten.

Vaughn Bode has his son, Mark Bode to deal with keeping the artwork alive. Fantasy naked chicks, wizards with no body, and lizards chatting up them fantasy naked chicks will stay relevant for at least another generation. Upper Playground did an insightful video here, sad but insightful.
